Painted Leaves

​Magical pieces of art painted on real preserved leaves.

Inspired by the idea of capturing a special moment in time forever on something just as delicate as that fleeting moment.  Each of my leaves are pressed and preserved before being painted with acrylic paints.  The leaves are delicate and breakable.  They require a careful hand and detailed eye. Once completed, they are matted on textured canvas or fine art paper and framed for protection.
